ACLS and PALS Schedule
Who it is for
Who takes ACLS and PALS together
Anyone whose unit sees both adults and children. Departments that treat the whole age range usually require both cards, and taking them together keeps the renewal dates aligned.
Emergency department staff
ER nurses, techs and providers who cannot predict whether the next arrival is 4 years old or 74.
Pediatric and NICU teams
Pediatric ICU, NICU and labor and delivery staff who also carry an adult ACLS requirement.
Transport and float providers
Flight crews, transport nurses and float-pool staff credentialed across adult and pediatric units.
What is included
What the combined class includes
Two complete AHA provider courses in one session, each with its own skills check. This booking does not include BLS.
Full ACLS Provider course
Adult rhythm recognition, ACLS pharmacology, airway management and a megacode you run as team leader.
Full PALS Provider course
Pediatric assessment, respiratory and shock management, pediatric rhythms and team-based case scenarios.
Two same-day eCards
Pass both skills checks and both official AHA eCards are issued the same day, each valid for 2 years.
How much is ACLS and PALS together in West Covina?
$400 for both provider courses on the same day. Each course is $250 when you book it on its own at our regular pricing, so taking them together is the cheaper route whenever you need both. The price covers both classes, both skills checks and both official same-day AHA eCards.
Does this class include BLS?
No. This combination assumes your BLS Provider card is already current, which is what the AHA expects of ACLS and PALS students. If your BLS has lapsed or is about to, take the ACLS, PALS and BLS class instead: it adds the BLS Provider course to the same single-day session.
That option is here: ACLS, PALS and BLS in West Covina.
How long is the day?
Long. Classes start at 12:00 PM and you are completing two full provider courses with two separate skills checks. Eat before you arrive, bring water, and wear something you can kneel and compress in. We keep the group small so nobody spends the afternoon watching from the back.
What do I need to do before class?
The AHA requires a precourse self-assessment for both ACLS and PALS. We email both links with your booking confirmation, along with the current algorithms for each. Bring a photo ID and your completion certificates on the day.
Where is the class held?
100 Barranca St #255-B, West Covina, CA 91791. We are an official AHA Training Site minutes off the 10 freeway with free parking, and providers travel to us from Covina, Baldwin Park, El Monte, La Puente, City of Industry, Hacienda Heights, Pomona and Diamond Bar. The cards are accepted at the San Gabriel Valley hospitals listed below.
