  • Great experience. Clear explanations and answered any questions I had. Our instructor was helpful in translating some things in Spanish, which was really helpful as I went with my mom who is learning English.

  • Very good instructor. It is my second time going here and I 100% recommend. The instructor was very patient and went through every section and explained things that were not on the slides.

Troubleshooting

Instructor Questions, Answered

Do I need a BLS card before I can become an instructor?
Yes. You need a current, unexpired AHA BLS Provider card to start the instructor course. If yours has lapsed, take a BLS Provider or renewal class with us first, then start the instructor path. Nothing else is required before you begin.
How long does it take to become an AHA BLS instructor?
There are three parts: AHA Instructor Essentials online, which you complete at your own pace, the BLS Instructor Course itself, and then a monitored class you teach while an instructor trainer observes. How fast you finish depends on how quickly you get through the online portion and when a monitored class is available on the schedule, so we give you real dates on the call rather than a promise we cannot keep.
What does it mean to be aligned with a Training Center?
The AHA does not issue cards to individual instructors. Every instructor teaches under a Training Center, which holds the AHA agreement, keeps the rosters, and issues the eCards. When you align with us, you teach your own classes and we handle the Training Center side: course records, roster submission, and the eCards your students receive.
What is the difference between Launch and Scale?
Launch gives you the business: a branded website, an online booking calendar, starter equipment, LLC setup, and a year of monthly one-on-one mentorship. Scale adds the software stack we run our own company on, including the ops dashboard, the renewal reminder engine, abandoned checkout recovery, the payment to confirmation pipeline, the Google Ads conversion tracking feed, call scoring, AHA roster and skills checklist automation, and per-course and per-city landing pages.
Is Scale a one-time price?
Yes. Scale is $5,000 one time. The software has ongoing monthly costs to run, and we go through those with you on the call so you know the number before you commit to anything.
Where do the classes happen?
Instructor training runs in person at our West Covina training center. Once you are aligned, you teach your own classes on your own schedule.
