ACLS Certification in Covina, Taught at Your Facility
We teach the AHA ACLS Provider course inside Covina facilities: hospital units, surgery centers, dialysis suites, skilled nursing buildings and physician practices. Pick the shift that hurts least, and we set up in your conference room with manikins, monitors and airway gear. Cards are issued the day of class, so nobody leaves with a to-do.
One clinician instead of a department? Covina borders us. Our classroom is a 6 minute drive, a little over 2 miles down Citrus Avenue, with class Sundays and Tuesdays at 12:00 PM.

ACLS Certification Schedule
Onsite training we have delivered

Covina is the closest city we serve, which changes the honest answer to a question most training companies dodge. For three or four clinicians, driving 2 miles to us is usually the cheaper move. Once a department is booking eight or more, an onsite session at your building wins on both price and coverage. We will tell you which one you are.
Covina roles that carry an ACLS card
Advanced cardiac life support is a condition of employment across a narrower slice of staff than BLS. In Covina it usually lands on these three.
Acute care and telemetry nurses
Emergency, critical care, telemetry and cardiac rehabilitation staff at Emanate Health Inter-Community Hospital and the practices feeding it.
Surgery center and procedural staff
Circulators, pre-op and PACU nurses, and anesthesia support at outpatient surgical and endoscopy suites that sedate patients.
Dialysis and skilled nursing clinicians
Charge nurses at dialysis clinics and skilled nursing facilities, where an arrest is the event the whole staffing plan is built around.
What a Covina onsite session covers
Same curriculum, same instructors, same exam as the classroom course. The only variable is whose building it happens in.
Setup inside your unit
We load in, run the session and load out. A conference room or an unused procedure room is plenty of space for a small cohort.
Megacode reps, not a slide deck
Rhythm recognition and pharmacology up front, then repeated megacode practice with live coaching until the sequence is automatic.
Written exam and eCards on site
Testing happens in the room. Official AHA ACLS Provider eCards are issued the same day and go straight into the compliance binder.
Onsite in Covina, or a 2 mile drive to us?
This is the one city where the answer often points away from onsite, and we would rather say so than sell you a truck roll. Under about six clinicians, sending people to a scheduled Sunday or Tuesday class at 100 N. Barranca St is usually simpler and cheaper: the drive is roughly 2 miles, about 6 minutes up Citrus Avenue, and nobody has to clear a room. Above that, and especially when a unit cannot release staff in a group, onsite wins outright because the department never empties out. Tell us the headcount and the shift pattern and we will point you at the cheaper option.
What group ACLS costs a Covina department
The per-clinician ladder starts at $250 for one student and falls $25 with each added student: $225 at 2, $200 at 3, $175 at 4, $150 at 5, $125 at 6, $100 at 7. From eight it moves to fixed tiers, $95 per clinician for 8 to 15, $90 for 16 to 20, $85 for 21 to 25 and $80 for 26 to 30. A 12-person telemetry cohort lands at $95 each. Group BLS runs on tiers from a base of $88 per student with a five-student minimum, and Heartsaver CPR AED for non-clinical staff from a base of $98. Departments above 30 get a multi-session quote built by hand.
Splitting a Covina unit into day and night cohorts
A hospital floor cannot walk off the unit together, so we build the session around the handoff instead of fighting it. The pattern that works: a session early enough to catch night shift on their way out and day shift before they clock in, then a second block in the afternoon or evening for the reverse. Larger departments spread across two days so coverage never dips below safe. Because the round trip is 4 miles, a second visit costs you nothing extra in scheduling friction, which is not true of a vendor coming in from across the county.
Where the class is and what parking looks like
The classroom is at 100 N. Barranca St, Suite #255-B, West Covina, CA 91791. From downtown Covina it is a little over 2 miles: south on Citrus Avenue, then west, roughly 6 minutes without traffic. Parking is free and on site, and classes start at 12:00 PM on Sundays and Tuesdays. The building is a training site, not a hospital, so there is no visitor badge line to stand in on your way to a 12:00 start.
One expiration date for the whole Covina roster
Certifying a unit together does something a discount cannot: it collapses a spreadsheet of individual expiration dates into a single recurring event two years out. Educators we work with book the next renewal before we have finished packing the manikins. If your roster is already scattered across a dozen dates, one group session is the reset that lines everybody up, and from then on renewals are a calendar entry rather than a monthly chase.
If your team needs pediatric coverage as well, look at PALS Provider certification, which prices on the same group ladder and can run back to back with ACLS.
Initial ACLS or a renewal? Which your Covina staff needs
Mixed rosters are normal, and the two courses are not the same length. A clinician holding a current card, or one that lapsed recently, belongs in the renewal course, which skips the introductory teaching and goes straight to review, megacode and testing. A clinician who has never held ACLS, or whose card expired a long stretch ago, belongs in the initial provider course. Both price on the same group ladder, so a mixed department does not pay a penalty for it. Tell us the split when you request the quote and we will schedule the room accordingly.
Recertifying rather than starting fresh? The details live on our ACLS renewal page, and a renewal cohort can run the same afternoon as an initial one.
Four ways a Covina department can do this
Every route below is the same course with the same instructor and the same card. Because Covina sits 2 miles from the classroom, the deciding factor here is floor coverage rather than travel.
- We come to your unit anywhere in Covina, which is the right call once roughly eight clinicians are due at the same time.
- Your team comes to us for a private session in West Covina at the identical group rate, with nobody paged back to the floor mid-scenario.
- Individual seats, booked as needed at $135 apiece on the Sunday and Tuesday schedule, which usually beats an onsite visit at very small numbers.
- Add PALS to the same engagement when the same clinicians also need pediatric coverage, priced on its own ladder.
Covina facilities we work around
Covina and West Covina share a border, a hospital system and a lot of staff, so scheduling here is more flexible than anywhere else we serve. Early mornings, lunch blocks and post-close evenings all work because the drive is short in both directions.

"Very efficient instructor, completed the course in less than the allotted time, but still got all the info I needed to be certified. This is my second time coming here for my certification and I will be coming back for my renewals."
