BLS Certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) is the foundation for saving lives. It is designed for healthcare professionals and teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on High-Quality CPR and team dynamics.

This course is specifically designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings. This includes Nurses, EMTs, Dental Professionals, PT/OT, Medical Students, and Caregivers.

Our AHA BLS Provider class is $89, and that price includes the in-person class, your hands-on skills practice, and your official American Heart Association eCard issued the same day. BLS renewal is also $89. There are no hidden fees for the card or materials. Classes run at our West Covina training site at 100 N. Barranca St, Suite #255-B.

Our in-person BLS class is designed to be efficient: most students finish in under 2 hours. Because we run small, hands-on sessions with an instructor guiding you through compressions, ventilations, AED use, and team scenarios, you get real practice without sitting through a full-day seminar. You leave with your same-day eCard, ready to submit to your employer or school.

An AHA BLS card is valid for 2 years from the date of issue. Most employers and nursing programs require an unexpired card at all times, so we recommend booking your renewal class before your current card expires. If your card has already lapsed, you can simply retake the class and walk out with a fresh 2-year certification the same day.

All BLS includes CPR, but not every CPR class is BLS. BLS (Basic Life Support) is the healthcare-provider level course: it covers high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, ventilations with a barrier device, and team-based resuscitation. A general CPR class like AHA Heartsaver is aimed at workplaces and the general public. If your employer, hospital, or nursing program asks for "BLS," "BLS Provider," or "CPR for Healthcare Providers," this is the course you need. If you would rather do the learning portion online on your own schedule, AHA HeartCode BLS is the blended option: finish the online course first, then complete a quick in-person skills check at our West Covina training site and receive the same official AHA BLS eCard. BLS Provider certification is commonly required by hospitals, urgent care clinics, dental offices, skilled nursing facilities, and nursing and allied-health programs throughout the San Gabriel Valley. If you are starting a clinical rotation, a new healthcare job, or a caregiving role, check the exact wording of your requirement: most specify an American Heart Association BLS Provider card, which is exactly what this course issues.
