How long is the certification good for?
Your American Heart Association certification is valid for 2 years.
Do I have to take a test?
For the Heartsaver level, a written exam is usually not required unless your employer specifically requests it. Skills testing is required.
Can I just take First Aid?
We recommend the combo course as it's the most comprehensive, but if you strictly need only First Aid, let the instructor know.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing. You will be practicing CPR on manikins on the floor.
